About
HashX is a fast, privacy-first hash computation toolkit that runs 100% in your browser — no data is ever sent to a server. It supports a comprehensive range of algorithms: MD5 and SHA-1 for legacy compatibility, SHA-256 and SHA-512 for modern security, SHA-3 (224/256/384/512 bit, including Keccak-256), BLAKE2b with configurable output length, BLAKE3 (the fastest modern hash), RIPEMD-160 for Bitcoin-related use cases, and HMAC for message authentication. You can hash text with selectable character encoding, large files up to 100 MB via drag-and-drop, or process multiple values at once in batch mode with CSV export. The output can be formatted as lowercase/uppercase hex, Base64, or Base64url. A built-in hash verifier lets you paste an expected digest for instant comparison. The app works fully offline after first load.
